WELCOME TO THE ORIGINAL MEDFORD GIANT FLEA MARKET!



Hints, Tips, Ideas and a few Rules to help us both be successful in the Flea Market Business.


RESERVATIONS:
Reservations are required, and may be made by calling (541) 772-8211. If we are not available when you call, PLEASE leave your name and number (we are excellent at returning calls). Reservations by e-mail are not encouraged, due to how many times e-mail would have to be checked each day, please use phone if at all possible.
Please Note! As a rule, sellers that are there the day of the market, are given first opportunity to sign up for the following market. On Monday after the Market we start renting any empty tables we may have. Only one market is booked at a time, we do not take reservations two or three months into the future. If you call and the market is full, we can take your name and phone number and put on the waiting list, as we do get cancellations. Waiting list do not carry over to the next market you need to call for reservations on the Monday following the market.
If there is a certain place you would like to be (wall, power, end, etc.) let us know. While we can't Guarantee it we will do our best.

TABLES:
Tables are regular banquet size ( 8' by 2 1/2' ) and the cost is $22.00 per table set up and ready to go, or you can furnish your own table ( same size as ours ) the space to set it up in is $19.00. Tables and spaces are to be paid for the morning of the market, on your receipt will be your table or space number. Tables and spaces are all numbered in the main room CHAIRS ARE NO LONGER FURNISHED SO PLEASE BRING YOUR OWN.

TIMES:
Doors open to Sellers at 7:00a.m. Sellers may check in at the front door any time between 7:00a.m. , BUT NO LATER THAN 8:30a.m. At 8:30 a.m. sharp, any empty tables will be RESOLD. We open at 9:00a.m. and close at 4:00 to the public. SELLERS ARE NOT TO START PACKING UP UNTIL 4:00p.m.

CANCELLATIONS:
Don't be a NO-SHOW! These are people that do no have the courtesy to call and cancel or show up. A 48 hour cancellation notices is required. No-Show receipts are retained and in the future no-shows will be required to pay for the tables they no-showed for plus their current tables. If for some reason you can not make a Market you have reservations for, PLEASE call and let us know, NO LATER than the FRIDAY before that Market.

TIPS, HINTS, ECT:
How your table looks can have quite an impact on how well you sell. A nicely displayed table with table cloth and clean well arranged items will do wonders. Try It!
And please no pornography.
Stay until 4:00! VERY IMPORTANT:
Experienced dealers have said time and again that some of their best sales are made at the end of the day. You are paying for seven hours selling time, get your moneys worth! There is also a Sellers drawing at 4:00, a $10.00 dinner certificate or a $19.00 table certificate at a future market
Please Keep aisle ways clear. Fire restrictions call for 8 foot wide aisles.
